The East London singer-songwriter wants her bold, honest songwriting to empower its listeners.

Born in Jamaica, Äyanna moved to East London when she was one. Her early aptitude for singing surfaced when, as a four-year-old, she came home to her mum singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with a mature vibrato. From that moment onwards she was under the spotlight, whether it was singing for family members, singing gospel at church, or at theatre school.

There’s a vision to her work that belies Äyanna’s 21 years. Just at the beginning of her journey, and an EP in the works for 2021, there’s no doubt that Äyanna has plenty more up her sleeve.
