Steelfort

Established in 1946, Steelfort has been manufacturing in New Zealand for almost 70 years. Initailly, the company produced stainless steel products and reel mowers, however in 1967 the first LawnMaster rotary mower was released onto the New Zealand market. Since then Steelfort has diversified its interests by growing its manufacturing base and by identifying internationally recognised products and brands that combine well with its manufacturing activities.

Today, Steelfort employs a versatile skilled workforce with competencies in modern manufacturing practises, that allows it to compete internationally as well as offering a broad range of exclusive franchises that support a strong diverse company.

Steelfort now operates from its site in Palmerston North that encompasses a manufacturing facility of 11,000m² and a distribution center covering 7,000m².
