Who are we?

Founded in 1998, dBs Institute has over 25 years' experience at the forefront of sound and music education. With campuses in Bristol, Manchester, Plymouth, we’ve created a space where you can explore, experiment and carve out your own path in music.

We're a bunch of music makers and sound obsessives, known for our hands-on approach, industry connections, and our graduates, who go on to shape the music industry. From BAFTA winners to chart-toppers, from studio owners to festival headliners, dBs alumni are the ones pushing boundaries and setting standards. This isn't a place for conventional thinking or safe choices; we are home to a powerful wave of creative professionals, driven by passion and skill, set on making a meaningful impact on the creative industries and the world at large.
