KAVUWA

KAVUWA is a rapper born and raised in Nyeri, Kenya. He started writing raps in 2017, in highschool. He used to write raps purely in English.

At the moment, he raps in Swahili Kenya's official language, but mostly dominated by Sheng', Kenya's street language. He made his debut in the music scene with his 7-track solo album titled, 'Book of Vuvu', in the last quarter of 2023. In March 31st 2025, he released his second studio album titled 'Integrity'. In early 2026, he released a remastered version of 'Integrity', now titled 'Integrity (2025 Remastered)'. Under his name, he has various singles and EPs.

His lyrical ability and rhyming skills are ecstatic. He puts his mind and body to test, everytime he creates. Through his works, he expresses his experiences, vision, thoughts and wants.

He is also the founder and director of Rrrise House, a start-up music branding and marketing agency.

KAVUWA, born Vinstine Kavuwa Philip, is a game changer in Africa's music scene.
