Ramero Russell, also known as R2Facts, is a content documentarian, speaker, advocate, & emerging policy-focused scholar whose work centers on trauma-informed systems, homelessness, reentry, mental health, and institutional reform.

After surviving childhood trauma, domestic violence, wrongful conviction, incarceration at San Quentin State Prison, homelessness, & a suicide attempt in 1996, Ramero rebuilt his life through education, fitness, advocacy, and service.

Ramero earned a B.S in Sociology from Arizona State University and is completing his Master’s in Forensic Psychology at ASU. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy, with a focus on trauma-informed institutional policy. His dissertation direction is titled Trauma-Induced Homelessness: A Mental Health Odyssey.

More than 27 years in fitness, martial arts, media, and public speaking, Ramero uses R2Facts to turn lived experience into purpose, policy, and institutional change.
